Inequalities in science and technology

I found a website about the inequalities, especially in distribution and access, of science and technology. resIST is a research project that looks at what contributes to these inequalities. This 3 year long research projoect in Europe, South Africa, and the Caribbean/Latin America, led the researchers to the decision that ppverty is a huge contributer to inequality. If a country or city is in poverty, the people living there are less likely to have technology available and therefore are at a disadvantage to understanding how certain technologies work. The website (below) shows all the different information the researches collected over the 3 year period.
